Try pressing the play button a couple times. If it still doesn’t play, please Contact Me and explain the details of the problem.

Sometimes the first minute of the videos is blurry, but It usually clears up after that. I am currently looking into how to fix this problem.

Try adjusting the sound directly from the video player. Sometimes muting/unmuting the sound miraculously works.

Blender

Yes. It may not, however, be fully backwards compatible with 2.80. Some functionality may be lost for versions prior to 2.81.

Probably.  Blender releases updates every 3 months. Sometimes that includes user interface changes. You are probably using a more recent version of Blender than what I used to record the lessons. For more information, watch the introduction videos I include in each of my courses.

For the Easy Borders course, I recorded most of the lessons using Blender 2.80. Then there were some UI changes in the 2.81 release. I explain these differences in the introduction video called Blender Setup | 2.80 vs 2.81.

Friendly Answer: I mainly use the middle mouse button to zoom and pan the view in the viewport.  You can do this without a mouse using the navigation gizmos. To enable the them, click the gizmo button in the bottom right of the viewport. You will see the them appear in the top right of the viewport. You can rotate, zoom, and pan the view with the gizmo buttons.

Purchasing a Course

Absolutely.

If you pre-ordered the course, you may request a refund up until official release of the course is launched. If you purchased an official release, you may request a refund up until 30 days after your purchase.

To request a refund, go to the Contact Page and fill out the form. Type “REFUND” in the subject and type your order number in the message. Your order number can be found in Purchase History in your profile.

Not at this time. Currently only major credit cards are accepted.

Early Access courses are mostly complete, but parts of it may still be under construction. Usually the core of the material is ready and available to you. However, I am still actively adding content and polishing it up.

 

Pre-Ordering a Course

Pre-order means that you must pay for the course before it has been created.

Three reasons.

1) You get the course at a discounted rate.

2) You get to help me build the course by helping me decide what goes into it. I will rely directly on your input and will design the lessons around your needs.

3) It’s risk free. You will receive a full refund if not enough people pre-order. Also, if you change your mind, you may request a refund at any time up until 30 days after the full course is launched.

My business model going forward is to pre-sell all of my courses. I do this to see if there is genuine interest for the course. This way I’m not building courses you don’t want and, likewise, you aren’t paying for courses you don’t want.

Pre-ordering courses is also a way to help me fund the creation of the course. Think of it like a sort of kick-starter campaign.

I hold on to all funds until enough people pre-order the course to make building it worthwhile.

If not enough people pre-order after a certain period of time, then I will assume there is not much interest and will not create the course. All who pre-ordered up to that point will receive a full refund.

Also, if you change your mind, you may request a refund at any time up until official release of the course is launched.

That will be decided on a case-by-case basis and will be at my sole discretion. If I receive adequate funding for a particular course, then I will create it.

Remember, you can change your mind even after pre-ordering a course. If you do, you may request a refund all the way up until the official release is launched.
